Among the numerous publications Dr. Gopen has authored, his 1990 article in American Scientist, “The Science of Scientific Writing,” was selected as one of the 36 classic articles from the first 100 years of that publication. In 2011, Dr. Gopen was awarded the Legal Writing Institute’s “Golden Pen Award” for outstanding contribution to the legal writing profession.
